| Born in 1952, I won a scholarship to
New College, Oxford at the age of 17 and took an Honours
Degree in English Language and Literature - with emphasis
on medieval languages and literature.
After 8 years as Editor and Audio-Visual Producer for
Woodmansterne Publications Ltd - and a series of industry
awards for my scripting and production work - I started
work as a full-time freelance scriptwriter (working
for clients such as Kodak), editor (working on, and
writing, a series of ground-breaking computer books
for Granada/Collins) and author. I also set up the Asgard
Publishing Services partnership with three other Oxford
graduates.
I married quilter and textile artist Rosemary
Muntus in 1990.
Today I am an experienced corporate speechwriter, scriptwriter
and copywriter, using my developed computer skills in
new media such as web site creation (including this
site), multimedia scripting and programming, and advanced
speaker support.
In my limited spare time I enjoy making music - especially
early music, on authentic instruments - and historical
re-enactment, to which I owe a happy marriage, good
friends, and excellent raw material for my next novel
(if I can ever get around to writing it)...
